The Academic Year 2016/2017 began at the CCU with an Orientation ceremony. Freshmen received a warm welcome from the Vice-Chancellor who educated them on the feast and famine of university life. He enjoined all to take their studies serious by secluding themselves from activities that could jeopardise their academic performance. Reiterating the primordial objective of the CCU to produce citizen intellectuals who are rich in core Christian values, the Vice-Chancellor asked all freshmen to put God first and work hard.
