A. Department of Economics and Management Sciences
a) BSc Economics: A three year programme that prepares the candidates for national and international jobs in banks, corporations, government etc besides teaching and research.
b) BSc Accounting: A three year programme with prospective job opportunities as External/Internal auditors, Financial Directors, Controllers, Practicing accountants, Fraud examiners and teaching.
c) BSc Banking and Finance: Prospective job opportunities as Commercial bank managers, financial/credit analyst, investment banking, project analyst and teaching.
d) BSc Management: Prospective job opportunities in training as human resource officers, personnel directors, training managers, teaching.
e) BSc Marketing: The programme will produce marketing managers, training managers, advertising managers, teachers and researchers.
f) BSc Insurance :A three year BSc degree programme that furnishes graduates with a profound knowledge in risks coverage and portfolios.
g) BSc Small Scale Business Creation and Administration: A three year BSc degree programme aimed at encouraging individual entrepreneurship for job creation and administration.
All holders of HND in b), c), d), e), f), and g) will be eligible for admission in the third year of that degree programme.
B. Department of English Arts and Communication
a) BA English with Performing Arts and Cinematography:
The course in Performing Arts and cinematography goes beyond the usual traditional scope of acting. It offers opportunities for the student to match competences in theatre and all that it entails as well as cinematography. It is time we work towards the realization of a Cameroonian “Collywood.” It is therefore highly professional.
b) BA English with Publishing and Documentation: English with Publishing is a combination of a language course with publishing, documentation and library science. It is a useful combination for students who have always wanted to do English language with a professional affinity to strengthen and operationalize it.
c) BA English with Journalism and Public Relations: An exciting course for students of journalism with a strong language background capable of advertising and acting as public relations officer in both public and private sectors.
d) BA English/French (Bilingual degree): This course handles issues of English/French bilingualism which become more stimulating and challenging in the context of Cameroon where translation figure prominently.
a,b,c for holders of at least 2 GCE A’L in English and any arts subject and d) pass in A’L in English and French
